The Cebora Sound MIG 2060/MD Star is a workshop-ready inverter MIG welder built for high-quality welding and MIG brazing across a wide range of materials. With pulse and double pulse capability, it is especially well suited to aluminium, while also handling galvanised sheet, high-strength steels, stainless, and silicon bronze brazing applications. It is a strong option for panel work, light fabrication, repair work, and workshop production where weld appearance and arc control matter.

Using synergic pulsed technology, the machine is designed to make setup easier and help deliver cleaner, more consistent weld results. It comes loaded with a broad range of synergic programs, including dedicated aluminium programs, and also has saved synergic curves for CuSi3 and CuAl8 wires. That makes it a practical choice for automotive-style MIG brazing, thinner galvanised materials, and jobs where reduced heat input and better finish are important.

The double pulse function is a real advantage when welding thinner materials or when chasing a neater weld appearance on aluminium. It also helps achieve good welding results in more difficult positions, including vertical up, giving the operator more control across a wider range of applications.

Running on 240V single-phase power, the Sound MIG 2060/MD Star offers a 15A to 200A welding range with a duty cycle of 200A at 60% and 160A at 100%. It features stepless electronic adjustment and can be used with both standard MIG torches and the Cebora Push-Pull 2003 torch. When paired with the Push-Pull torch, it is especially effective on aluminium wires, helping achieve quality results from 0.6mm wire upward.

The machine is compatible with 5kg wire spools and 15kg spools with an optional spool holder and supports a wide range of wire sizes across steel, stainless, aluminium, CuSi3 and CuAl8. Its compact inverter design makes it a versatile unit for workshops needing premium MIG performance from a single-phase machine, without stepping up to a larger three-phase setup.
